We are always looking at ways to add fun and excitement for our players. That’s why we have reimagined our Player’s Club to offer more drawings with more eligible tickets and prize entry flexibility.

As communicated to all Player’s Club members by email approximately 30 days before transitioning to our new Player’s Club platform, all points and entries collected under the previous platform have expired.

It’s easy to enter Player’s Club prize drawings! Simply:

  1. Purchase Montana Lottery tickets (all Lotto and Scratch tickets are now eligible!);
  2. Sign in to your Player’s Club account online or on your Montana Lottery app;
  3. Enter tickets to earn Player’s Club points; and
  4. Add points to the prize drawings you wish to enter.

Quick Tip! Login to the Player’s Club website on your mobile device or use the Montana Lottery app to scan tickets quickly and easily.

Yes, you can move your points anytime until the drawing closes.

Visit the Prizes page and click ‘Remove’ from a prize drawing to move entries back to your unassigned entries balance. You can then add those entries to an alternate prize drawing.

Points not assigned into a prize drawing by the end of the drawing will remain in your account for use toward future drawings.

Yes, points will expire in the event of account inactivity over a period of 18 consecutive months.

Members can have a maximum of 500,000 entries in their account. Any attempts to accumulate more entries beyond this threshold will not be successful until such time as the Members account balance is reduced below the points limit.

Player’s Club prize drawings – Player’s Club members earn points when they enter Montana Lottery Scratch and Lotto tickets. Members can use their points toward monthly prize drawings. These drawings run until the end of the month, followed by a new set of monthly prize drawings. Player’s Club members can enter tickets and participate in prize drawings anytime.

Featured second chance drawings – From time to time, specific Montana Lottery Scratch or Lotto tickets will also participate in featured second chance drawings. When members enter participating tickets, those tickets will earn entries into the featured second chance drawing as well as Player’s Club points. For additional details on second chance drawing parameters, visit the drawing page (if applicable).

You enter featured second chance drawings automatically when you enter the eligible ticket into Player’s Club.

Montana Lottery Player’s Club prize drawings and second chance drawings are open only to members of the Montana Lottery Player's Club. The following are not eligible to participate in Player’s Club drawings:

  1. Non-residents of the United States
  2. Any officer or employee of the Montana Lottery;
  3. Any member of the Montana Lottery Commission;
  4. Any gaming vendor and its employees doing business with the Montana Lottery;
  5. Any relative residing as a member of the same household in the principal residence of any of the above persons; and
  6. Anyone under the age of 18.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of points entered into each draw.

Players earn 1 point for each $1 in ticket value entered.

Visit the Montana Lottery Player’s Club website on your mobile device (phone or tablet) and log in to your account. Next, go to the Enter Tickets page and tap the ‘Scan Ticket’ button. You will be asked if you allow Montana Lottery access to your camera; select ‘Allow’ and place the ticket barcode within the camera’s range to scan your tickets. Your valid tickets will be automatically entered into your Player’s Club account.

Sign into your Player’s Club account on the Montana Lottery mobile app and tap on the ticket checker to turn the scanner on. Next, place the ticket barcode inside the view finder to scan your tickets. If your ticket is eligible, your points and any featured second chance drawing entries will automatically be added to your Player’s Club account.

Winners will be posted on this website on the Winners page as each winning entry is confirmed.

  • Ensure you have a good internet connection; and
  • When scanning your ticket, ensure the entire barcode is within the image area and that the barcode is easily readable (no folds, scratches, tears, scratch ticket latex, etc. through the barcode).

If you continue to have issues scanning your ticket, try the manual entry option. If you are still having issues, contact Player’s Club Support at 406-444-5825.

You can win 1 prize for each drawing you enter. However, you cannot win more than 1 prize in each drawing, regardless of the number of points you have entered in that respective drawing.

Potential winners will be sent an e-mail to their verified address containing instructions on how to claim their prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 1 week from the drawing date, if the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner cannot provide proof of identification or a coupon that can be positively validated, the prize will be forfeited.

All prize winners will be sent an email to the address on file in their Player’s Club account.

  • Players must click on the link provided in the email or visit the My Prizes section to access a coupon for their prize. Specific claim instructions are provided on the prize details page.

Montana Lottery is required by law to withhold both state and federal taxes on certain levels of Lottery prizes. For U.S. citizens furnishing Social Security Numbers, we are required to withhold 5.9% for Montana state tax and 24% for federal tax from any prize greater than $5,000. However, there are other situations where the typical withholding requirements differ. Here's the law:

  • We are always required to withhold 5.9% state tax on all prizes greater than $5,000.
  • We are required to withhold 24% federal tax on any prize $600 and over for U.S. citizens who don't furnish Social Security Numbers or tax identification numbers.
  • For non–residents of the U.S., we must withhold 30% federal tax on any prize $600 and over.
  • At the end of the year, we mail each winner who has won $600 and over a W-2G form to use when filing their taxes.

You must claim your prize before the expiry date noted on the detail page for your prize.

All unclaimed prize money is transferred to the state's General Fund.

Your information will be kept, and your account maintained as an active account, as long as you are entering tickets, and participating in drawings and other services associated with your Player’s Club account.

If you are not subscribed to or participating in a service for a period 18 months from the date of last activity or original registration, whichever comes later, we may remove your records from our registrant list unless you re-subscribe to Player’s Club services.

If you receive this message, you may have already signed up for a Player’s Club account. Visit the reset password page and enter your email address to receive an email and sign in again.

If you receive this message and you have not already signed up for a Player’s Club account, it is possible that someone else has signed up using the same email address. An email address cannot be used by more than one person. If you believe this message is incorrect or require additional assistance, contact Player Support at 406-444-5825.

You may have entered your email address or password incorrectly. Check that you haven’t made any typos. Also make sure you haven’t entered any spaces. If you continue to have an issue, go to the reset password page.

If you’ve already signed up for a Player’s Club account, and have forgotten your password, go to the reset password page.

To change your email address, go to your account and click the edit button to update your profile.

To change your phone number, address or other information you signed up with, go to your account and click the edit button to update your profile.

Montana Lottery has firm policies and procedures to protect against minors participating in any Lottery game, sports wagering, drawing or engaging with our websites. Members must provide their date of birth in order to confirm that they are at least 18 years of age.
