
Montana Lottery Player’s Club Program Terms & Conditions
EFFECTIVE DATE: August 27, 2025
Introduction
The Montana Lottery Player’s Club Program (the “Program”) is a program whereby participants can earn and allocate points (each a “Point”, collectively “Points”) for the purpose of entering specific Program prize drawings made available by Montana Lottery as part of the Program on the Player’s Club website for a chance to win a prize pursuant to these Program Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). This Program is sponsored and managed by Montana Lottery (“Montana Lottery” or the “Sponsor”).
These Terms contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the Program. By entering this Program, Player’s Club Members (as defined herein) accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and the decisions of Montana Lottery, which are final without right of appeal, binding and conclusive on all matters related to this Program.
The Program is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes players' full and unconditional agreement to be bound by these official Terms and the Montana Lottery's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Program. Winning any prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
The Program may be terminated or extended at any time at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Upon termination of this Program, and subject to the notice requirements set out herein, the outstanding balance of any Points will automatically and immediately expire.
The Montana Lottery is the Sponsor of the Program and of any Montana Lottery second chance drawing. The Montana Lottery is located at 2525 North Montana Avenue, Helena, MT 59601-0598.
Eligibility
Montana Lottery Player’s Club is available in the United States of America only, and available only to those residing in the United States of America who (at the time of participation) are 18 years of age or older and have a valid Member Account in good standing as set out herein (“Eligible Participant”).
Notwithstanding the section above, the Program is not open to the following individuals who, at the time of participating, are:
An officer or employee of the Montana Lottery;
A member of the Montana Lottery Commission;
A gaming vendor and its employees doing business with the Montana Lottery;

A relative residing as a member of the same household in the principal residence of any of the above persons; or
Under the age of 18.
In the event that a person does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, Montana Lottery has the right, but not the obligation, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the person from participating in this Program. The disqualified person will not be entitled to any benefit due to such disqualification.
Registration
To participate in the Program, an Eligible Participant must visit the Program website at https://playersclub.montanalottery.com (“Website”) or download and use the mobile app and follow the necessary sign-up steps to create an account (“Account”) and agree to be bound by these Terms. Account registration is free. Upon confirmation of successful sign-up, the Eligible Participant will be considered a member of the Program (“Member”) and eligible to earn and allocate Points as described herein.
Multiple players shall not share the same email address. A player shall not create or maintain more than one Member Account. Any attempt by any player to obtain more than the stated number of Points or entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that player’s Points, any entries in available drawings, prizes awarded and that player may be disqualified from the Program. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Program Period & Member Account Termination
The Program commences as of the Effective Date August 27, 2025, on or about 12:00:00 AM MT. This Program will be open and run continuously without a specified end date, subject to these Official Program Terms and Conditions (Effective August 27, 2025). The Program will continuously run without an end date until Montana Lottery specifies otherwise. (the “Program Period”).
Montana Lottery will provide notice of Program termination at least thirty (30) days in advance to the email associated with a Member Account. Montana Lottery will terminate a Member Account for violation of Program parameters without notice at the discretion of the Montana Lottery. Upon Program termination, all unallocated Points remaining in a Member’s Account balance will expire. Following Program termination, no further Points may be earned or allocated other than as set out herein.
Earning Points
Members can earn and accumulate Points in the Program as follows:
A Member must complete the purchase of a Scratch or Lotto ticket at a retail location in Montana (“Eligible Ticket”) to be eligible to earn Points. To receive Points for an Eligible Ticket, Members must log-in to their Account on the Montana Lottery Player’s Club Website or the Montana Lottery App and enter Eligible Ticket numbers to earn Points by the methods outlined below:

Points will be awarded at the rate of 1 Point for each 1 dollar wagered per Eligible Ticket. A limit of 10,000 Points can be entered into the Member’s Account per week. Points can only be earned once on every Eligible Ticket. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure that Ticket Numbers are properly inputted into their Account.
A limit of 500,000 Points may be held in any Member Account at any time (“Points Limit”). Any attempts to accumulate any Points beyond this threshold will not be successful until such time as the Member’s Account balance is reduced below the Points Limit.
Points will be allocated to each Member’s Account in accordance with these Terms. Points have no value outside of this Program and have no cash value. Except for an authorized transfer of Points to the surviving spouse of a deceased Member, Points cannot be assigned, exchanged, traded, bartered, purchased, given by gift or otherwise sold or transferred. Any Points so acquired are void. If any Eligible Ticket is cancelled or rendered void for any reason, as determined by Montana Lottery in its sole discretion, it will not be eligible for Points allocation. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Montana Lottery may, at its sole discretion, agree to transfer Points to the surviving spouse of a deceased Member (provided such spouse is or becomes a Member of the Program in accordance with these Terms). The accumulation of Points does not entitle the Member to any vested rights, and Montana Lottery does not guarantee in any way the continued availability of any reward or any other benefit. All Points are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. Montana Lottery reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to invalidate any Points that Montana Lottery deems to have been awarded in error, or as the result of any fraudulent activity, or any activity not in keeping with the letter and/or spirit of these Terms, as interpreted by Montana Lottery in its sole discretion. Any Points that cannot be verified to the complete satisfaction of Montana Lottery are subject to disqualification.
The earning of any Point does not in itself entitle the Member to any benefit hereunder. To enter a Drawing and be eligible to win a prize, a Member must take the steps outlined in the section below and allocate Points in the Prize Drawing(s) of the Member’s choice in the timeframes provided by the applicable Monthly Drawing Rules below.
The Montana Lottery is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. If a dispute arises regarding any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Montana Lottery. The Montana Lottery reserves the right to contact players whose email addresses are submitted as part of this Program.
Point Allocation & Entry into Prize Drawings
A Monthly Drawing Period may contain multiple prizes, and random draws will be conducted for each prize drawing (each, a “Drawing”). To gain entry into any of the Drawings offered as part of this Program, a Member must, within the Monthly Drawing Period, use the allocation function found on the Website and choose the number of earned Points to be allocated to a given Drawing. A Member may elect to allocate Points to specific Drawings in accordance with their preferences. After a Point is allocated by the Member to a given Drawing, a Member will have the opportunity, within the Monthly Drawing Period, to withdraw all or some of their previously allocated Points from the relevant Drawing. Any Points withdrawn and not re-allocated within the Monthly Drawing Period will not be entered into that Monthly Drawing. Entry or participation in any Monthly Drawing shall be subject to and governed by the Monthly Drawing Parameters (“Parameters”) for the specific Monthly Drawing at issue. Allocation of Points into any Drawing constitutes the Member’s agreement to participate in the Drawing and be bound by the Parameters. Odds of winning any prize will depend on the total number of Points allocated by all participating Members during each Monthly Drawing Period for each Drawing.
A Member’s Points balance will be reduced by the number of Points required to obtain the desired Drawing allocation and entry. Unallocated Points can be applied to subsequent Drawings within the Program Period, subject to expiry and and/or earlier termination of this Program as set out herein. Once Points have been allocated at the end of a Monthly Drawing Period, they are no longer valid for any subsequent allocation in any subsequent Drawing, and they shall not be returned or reinstated to the Member’s Account for any reason. Points shall not be used for any other purpose and shall have no cash value.
Points Expiry
Upon Termination: As set out above, Points will automatically and immediately expire upon Program termination for any reason.
Inactivity: Points will also expire in the event of Account Inactivity. “Account Inactivity” occurs when all of the following conditions are satisfied at any time during an 18 consecutive month period:
When a Member has not allocated any Points for entry in any Program Drawing; and
When a Member has not earned any Points as set out herein; and

When a Member has not logged into Players Club account (Website or App) or performed any account activities.
In the event of Account Inactivity, all Points remaining in any Account will automatically and immediately expire. When Account Inactivity occurs, it cannot be cured, and Points cannot be restored for any reason.
Members will begin receiving notifications by email of any possible Points expiration due to Member inactivity, which will begin approximately 6 months before said Points are scheduled to expire.
Monthly Drawing Parameters
The Montana Lottery Player’s Club Monthly Prize Drawings are sponsored by Montana Lottery (“Montana Lottery” or the “Sponsor”). The Monthly Drawings are managed by Splashdot (the “Drawing Manager”), acting on behalf of the Sponsor for the purposes of the Drawing.
The Monthly Drawing availability period for each Monthly Drawing is described on https://playersclub.montanalottery.com (the “Monthly Drawing Period”).
These Monthly Drawing Parameters are subject to the Terms.
Monthly Drawing Eligibility
The Monthly Drawings are open only to residents of the United States of America who are 18 years of age or older, who have signed up as a Member of the Montana Lottery Player’s Club Program on https://playersclub.montanalottery.com and who have used the allocation function found on the Website or in the App and assigned entries to a given Prize Drawing.
All entries must be submitted from a computer or mobile device located within the United States of America.
An entrant who meets the requirements stated above will be deemed an eligible participant (each, an “Eligible Participant” and collectively “Eligible Participants”).
In the event that an entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements for the Program set forth herein, or in the event that a previously Eligible Participant no longer meets the eligibility requirements set forth herein, as determined by the Sponsor and Drawing Manager in their sole and absolute discretion, then such participant shall be disqualified and there shall be no obligation to award any Prizes to such entrant.
How to Enter
Eligible Participants who have entered Eligible Tickets and earned Points in accordance with the Program Terms & Conditions can allocate those Points to enter the Monthly Drawing as follows:

During the Monthly Drawing Period, Eligible Participants must log into their Player’s Club Account on the Website or in the App.

1 Drawing Entry per Point allocated. Upon log-in, Eligible Participants must click on the Prizes page and using the functionality on the Website or App, allocate 1 or more Point(s) during the Monthly Drawing Period to obtain 1 or more Drawing entry(ies) (each, a “Drawing Entry”) to be eligible to win a Prize as further set out herein. Eligible Participants will obtain 1 Drawing Entry per Point allocated. Drawing Entries will only be obtained for the Drawing for which the Points are allocated. By way of illustration only, an Eligible Participant who successfully allocates 25 Points during the Monthly Drawing Period for a given Drawing would receive 25 Drawing Entries toward the Prize associated with that specific drawing.

There are 3 drawings available during each Monthly Drawing Period, each with its own prizing as set out below (each, a Drawing” or “Prize Drawing”). Points can be allocated across any of the available Drawings. By way of illustration only, if an Eligible Participant wishes to obtain 1 Entry per available Drawing, he or she must allocate 1 Point in each available Drawing. After a Point is allocated to a given Drawing, an Eligible Participant will have the opportunity, within the Monthly Drawing Period, to withdraw all or some of their previously allocated Points from the relevant Prize Drawing and re-allocate the Point(s) into another Drawing within the Monthly Drawing Period. Any Points withdrawn and not re-allocated within the Monthly Drawing Period will not result in any Drawing Entry or be entered into any Drawing. There is no limit on the number of Drawing Entries per Eligible Participant.
Monthly Prize Drawings & Prizes
Monthly Prize Drawings will be made from all eligible entries for the particular prize draw received during the Monthly Drawing period.
Winners Selection
Monthly prize winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing of all entries received in the Monthly Drawing Period from among all eligible entries received. Drawings will be performed by 11:59 p.m. on the Monday following the close of the entry period, or when determined by the Montana Lottery. The winners will be contacted via the email address provided upon registration and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these parameters).
Players may enter as many times as they choose; however, no player can win more than once in a single drawing. Each drawing is held separately from all other drawings. The Montana Lottery's decisions regarding the selection of potential winners are final and binding.
Verification of Potential Winners
Potential winners will be sent an e-mail to their verified address containing instructions and a link to log into the Player’s Club Website to access their coupon details page. Potential winners must continue to comply with all Terms. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted within 1 week from the drawing date, if the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner cannot provide proof of identification or a coupon that can be positively validated, the prize will be forfeited. If a potential winner of a Monthly Drawing prize is disqualified for any reason, the Montana Lottery reserves the right in their absolute and unfettered discretion to select an additional, alternate entry from among the remaining Eligible Entries received during the applicable drawing.
Prizes
Current drawing prize information may be found at https://playersclub.montanalottery.com. For all prizes: prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except as provided herein or at the Montana Lottery's sole discretion. Montana Lottery reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason.
Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be emailed notification of their win, and a coupon will be provided in the “My Prizes” section of the Player’s Club Website. The coupon details page will also include instructions for how to redeem or complete the claims process to receive their prize.
Entry Conditions and Release
By entering, each player agrees to comply with and be bound by these official parameters and the decisions of the Montana Lottery, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Program.
Publicity
A winner's name and/or photo cannot be used for promotional purposes without the written consent of the winner. (MCA 23-7-313) For prizes over $599.99, a player's social security or federal tax identification number is required for tax reporting and withholding under Federal Internal Revenue Code sections 6011, 6041, 6109, 3402 and the regulations enacted thereunder. Information provided may be disclosed to state and federal government agencies, including the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, the Montana Department of Revenue and the Federal Internal Revenue Service.
Spin & Win Game (Bonus Game) Parameters & Prizes
Eligible Participants may also have the opportunity from time to time to play the Bonus Game (consisting of a Spin & Win game).
Participation in Spin & Win is optional. Eligible Participants can choose to play Spin & Win after they have accumulated at least 5 Player’s Club Points. If a Member chooses to play Spin & Win using the Trade for Spin option, they must trade 5 Points to receive 1 Play (“Spin”). Each Spin & Win play using the Trade for Spin option will require a trade of 5 Points before the Eligible Participant can proceed to Spin. A maximum of 5 trades for Spins per day using the Trade for Spin option is allowed. Each Spin contains a chance to win Points, or an Instant Win Prize. An Eligible Participant will receive the applicable number of Points awarded on Spin & Win. Important: If the prize revealed is 1 Point, the participant will have lost (4) four of the Points traded to play Spin & Win.
Important: Any unused Spins acquired through trade will expire at the close of the Spin & Win activation period.
Spin & Win Instant Prizes
Instant Win Prizes are allocated to be won on Spin & Win over the course of each Spin & Win participation period. Instant win prizes may be cash, lottery products or merchandise.
Throughout the Spin & Win participation period, Instant Win Prizes are randomly seeded on the Spin & Win Game. The Eligible Participant who plays Spin & Win and receives the promotional message indicating that they are a potential winner of an Instant Win Prize exactly at the winning time will be eligible to win an instant prize (and become the “Eligible Entrant”). If no participant plays Spin & Win and receives the promotional message indicating that they are a potential winner of an Instant Win Prize at exactly the winning time, then the first Eligible Participant who plays Spin & Win and receives the promotional message indicating that they are a potential winner of an Instant Prize following the winning time will be eligible to receive an Instant Win Prize (and become the “Eligible Entrant”). Limit: 1 Instant Win Prize per winning time.
Winner Notification for Instant Prizes
When a participant becomes the Eligible Entrant (as per above), they will be provided a promotional message in an on-screen congratulations message as well as an email sent to the address in their Player’s Club profile. The message will direct the participant to visit the “My Prizes” page of their Player’s Club Account for further instructions on how to redeem or claim their instant prize.
Montana Lottery may, in its discretion, also request additional information from an Eligible Entrant as part of the Instant Win Prize claim process, such as verification of their eligibility. If the Eligible Entrant does not claim the instant prize as described above by the expiry date of their coupon the Entrant waives their rights to the instant prize and that instant prize will not be awarded, and Montana Lottery has no responsibility to award a substitute prize to that eligible entrant.
General Conditions
The Montana Lottery reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Program, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond the Montana Lottery's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Bonus Play drawing, as determined by the Montana Lottery in its sole discretion.
The Montana Lottery reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Bonus Play drawing or acting in violation of these official parameters. The Montana Lottery's failure to enforce any Term of these official rules shall not constitute a waiver of this reservation. Information collected during the Program will be maintained according to the Montana Lottery's privacy policies.
Limitations of Liability
The State of Montana, Montana Lottery and their employees, officials, vendors and agents are not responsible for:
Any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by players, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Program;
Technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software;
or
Unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry or administration process or the Program.
If for any reason a player’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the player’s sole remedy is another entry in the Bonus Play drawing, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Program, or any part of it, for any reason, the Montana Lottery, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these official rules to be available and/or claimed, the Montana Lottery reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.
Disputes
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these official parameters, or the rights and obligations of the player and Montana Lottery in connection with the Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Montana.

“Lotto” tickets include “Treasure Play” tickets.
All times and dates refer to Mountain Time (“MT”).
The Program is subject to the laws of the State of Montana and the Federal laws of the United States of America as applicable.
