Can-Am^® Second Chance Drawing Parameters

1. Eligibility: The Can-Am^® Second Chance Drawing is open to new and existing Montana Lottery Player's Club members only. Entries will be accepted from May 6, 2026, at 12:01 AM MT to August 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM MT with drawings held on June 19, July 17 and August 14.

2. Entry Process: Entries for the Can-Am^® Second Chance Drawing consist of all winning and non-winning Can-AM^® Scratch tickets. All eligible tickets must be submitted by the participants themselves. Entries not submitted by the deadline of each drawing date will be excluded from the drawing.

3. Entry Details: The Can-Am^® Second Chance Drawing will feature a $2,500 drawing held on June 19 and July 17 with a grand prize drawing for a Can-AM^® SxS vehicle valued up to $34,000 on August 14:

   • $2,500 Drawing
     Entry Period: May 6 at 12:01 AM MT – June 18 at 11:59 PM MT
     Drawing on June 19

   • July 17 Drawing: $2,500 Drawing
     Entry Period: May 6 at 12:01 AM MT – July 16 at 11:59 PM MT
     Drawing on July 17

   • August 14 Drawing: (1) Can-Am^® SxS Vehicle Drawing
     Entry Period: May 6 at 12:01 AM MT – August 13 at 11:59 PM MT
     Drawing on August 14

   *All ticket entries will go towards the Can-Am^® SxS vehicle grand prize drawing.

4. Can-Am^® SxS Vehicle Prize: The winner of the Can-Am^® SxS vehicle prize may select a Can-Am^® SxS vehicle and options valued up to $34,000. Any unused portion of this $34,000 credit will be awarded to the winner as a cash prize. The Montana Lottery will pay all state and federal taxes on the vehicle prize, bringing the total value to $53,583. Winners must accept the Can-Am SxS vehicle prize; no cash option is available in lieu of the vehicle selection.

5. Drawing Method: Winners will be selected randomly, after drawing entry deadline. Winners will be announced within 3 business days of each drawing.

6. Winner Limitations: Participants are limited to winning a maximum of one $2,500 prize. However, winning a $2,500 prize does not disqualify a participant from winning the grand prize Can-Am SxS Vehicle prize.Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the drawing.

7. Winner Notification: Winners of each drawing will be notified via email through the Player’s Club.

8. Winner Claim Requirements: Winners must provide valid identification and complete a Player's Club claim form, consistent with the standard Montana Lottery prize claim process. Player's Club claim forms can be submitted by mail or in person at Montana Lottery headquarters. The Montana Lottery is not responsible for lost or stolen mail. Claims received more than six months after the drawing date will be rejected. If the Lottery cannot contact the winner within 7 days of the drawing, the prize is forfeited, and an alternate winner will be chosen.

9. Winners List: The Montana Lottery cannot publicly display a winner's picture or name without their consent. The Montana Lottery will maintain a list of winners for this drawing and may publish their towns or zip codes, and the amount won on the Montana Lottery website, social media, or other platforms.

10. Tax Withholding: The Montana Lottery is required to withhold state and federal taxes on certain prize amounts.

    1. For U.S. citizens providing a Social Security Number: 5.9% Montana state tax and 24% federal tax will be withheld from prizes exceeding $5,000.

    2. 24% federal tax will be withheld from prizes $600 and over for U.S. citizens who do not provide a Social Security number or tax identification number.

    3. 5.9% state tax will be withheld from all prizes greater than $5,000.

    4. For non-U.S. residents, 30% federal tax will be withheld from prizes of $600 or more.

    5. Winners of $600 or more will receive a W-2G form for tax filing purposes.
